Audio Messages
Voice messages are recorded using the browser microphone. Click the microphone button to start recording. Click again to finish and send. A duration timer is displayed during recording.
The recorded message is shown with a waveform that visualizes the sound volume. Click on the message to play it.
Video Circles
Video circles are short video messages in a round format. To record:
- Click the video circle button
- Record the video via the camera
- Confirm sending
The video is processed before sending: compression, circular cropping, and size optimization.
Files and Attachments

Sending Files
Two ways to attach files:
- Click the attachment button and select files
- Drag and drop files from your file manager into the chat area
Images are displayed as thumbnails in the message. Other files are shown with a type icon and file name. Click on a file to download it.
The total size of all files in a single message must not exceed 25 MB. For larger files, use external storage services.
Link Previews
When a message contains a URL, the system automatically generates a link preview:
- Page title
- Description (meta description)
- Thumbnail image (og:image)
The preview loads automatically after the message is sent.
Message Search
In-chat search lets you find messages within the current chat:
- Click the search icon in the chat header
- Enter a keyword or phrase
- Results are highlighted in the message feed
- Use the arrows to navigate between found messages
The search works across message text and file names.
Forwarding Messages
Any message (text, media, files) can be forwarded to another chat:
- Click on the message
- Select "Forward"
- Choose the target chat from the list
- Confirm forwarding
The forwarded message is displayed with a "Forwarded" label and information about the source chat.
When forwarding media files, a reference to the file is copied, not the file itself. This saves space and speeds up the operation.
